· Discover New Caledonia Style. Southern Province's official tourism site with abundant information on travel and accommodations.

· Endemia. A non-commercial site dedicated to the flora, fauna, and environment of New Caledonia. Although entirely in French, it contains many photos and provides a feel for the territory.

· Isle of Pines Tourism. The Isle of Pines is the southernmost island of Melanesia, a small paradise with perfect white beaches backed by the tall trees which give it its name.

· Loyalty Islands: Lifou, Mare, Ouvea. An official guide to New Caledonia's glorious offshore islands, Mare, Lifou, and Ouvea.

· New Caledonia Travel Guide. Excerpts from Moon Handbooks South Pacific, the original travel guidebook to the region.

· Tjibaou Cultural Center. New Caledonia's leading cultural institution stands on the spectacular Tina Peninsula just outside the capital Noumea. The website introduces this large complex which opened in 1989.

· Air Calédonie. Air Calédonie is New Caledonia's domestic airline and the site lists schedules, fares, and accommodation packages.

· Aircalin: Air Calédonie International. Air Caledonie International flies to Australia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Japan, New Zealand, Vanuatu, and Wallis Island.

· Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New Caledonia. Not only is this a good source of business-related information, but the Chamber of Commerce operates New Caledonia's international airport so there are complete flight listings.

· CREIPAC (Centre de Rencontres et d'Echanges Internationaux). CREIPAC specializes in teaching French as a second language, and their clientele is primarily high-school and university groups from nearby Australia and New Zealand.

· Map of New Caledonia. A map of New Caledonia with travel information and vacation planning tips.

· Mary-D Enterprises Presents Amedee Lighthouse Island. Amedee Lighthouse is said to be the tallest metal lighthouse in the world. Most visitors arrive on the highspeed cruiser Mary-D Dolphin to enjoy the superb snorkeling off Amedee Island.

· New Caledonia Accommodation and Resorts Directory. New Caledonia resort and hotel listings accessible via a searchable online form.

· New Caledonia Economic Development Agency. Designed to promote trade and investment, this site is an excellent source of information on the economy.

· Les Nouvelles Calédoniennes. Unfortunately, the site of New Caledonia's daily newspaper is available only in French.

· Tourisme Province Nord. The official tourism site of New Caledonia's third province (after South and Loyalty Islands provinces).

· Traveller's Island. This commercial travel site provides a good overview of the facilities available for visitors to New Caledonia.

· University of New Caledonia. This important French university has almost 2,000 students on two Noumea campuses. Instructions on how to enroll as a foreign student are provided on the site.

· Yahoue Search Engine. Though entirely in French, New Caledonia's own internet search engine is easy to navigate and opens a thousand doors.
